The 6 week course will give students a foundation in drawing through a series of exercises which introduce and reinforce the fundamentals of the craft. Students who decide to continue with the program will move on to drawing plaster casts and still lifes from life, and eventually onto grisaille (black and white) and full-color oil painting. Classes are open to all experience levels, regardless of prior experience, and instruction is tailored to each student's individual needs. This course will give anyone with a sincere interest and honest effort the building blocks to create work that is more advanced and creative, with the option to continue learning for those interested in more guidance on their artistic journey.
Class size is limited to 10 students.
