Summer Intensive for Teens

Atwood Atelier is excited to announce our popular Summer Intensive for Teens (and young adults). We will be offering 3 different week-long workshops: 2 all-day workshops and one afternoon workshop. The intention of this workshop is for young people to gain an introduction to a classical approach to drawing and painting, and to begin building a portfolio for college.

These workshops are sequential, and students are encouraged to take all three for a comprehensive, reinforced understanding of the craft. Philip will be collaborating with the Art Lit Lab, teaching a drawing workshop during the morning of the second week, and students are encouraged to sign up for this alongside the Figure Drawing workshop that week. In order to attend the Oil Painting Fundamentals workshop, students must complete one of the workshops the two previous weeks, or the workshop at the Art Lit Lab.
